In 2004, the school’s administration included drama and theatrical expression as a weekly class for upper elementary students. These classes are intended to aid the students’ personal development and self-assurance while supporting them through the psychological and physical transitions of adolescence in a healthy manner. The program also aims to enhance the students’ creative abilities, expand their horizons, and bring them joy.
Throughout the course, teachers engage students in various dramatic exercises and activities, including scriptwriting and the creation of theatrical scenes. These activities are wrapped up each academic year in a series of diverse performances, which are showcased to an audience of parents, faculty, and fellow students.
